About Me

At the age of four, I already knew that I wanted to be an artist when I grew up.

Back then, "artist" was a job title just like "firefighter" or "doctor." Now I know that the work of an artist is never done. It is not so easy to separate home life from work life. An artist's work is a way of life, and the artist is continually developing.

My work comes from my inherent need to create. It is not particularly spectacular or world changing, but it is deeply personal. Working on an art project is a form of meditation. I assemble images and structures out of the materials I have on hand, and sometimes it turns into something great.
